Dr. Strong completed her pathology residency at University of New Mexico Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her M.D. degree and completed an internship in the Surgery Preliminary Program, from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Board-certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology as well as, National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Strong joined Clin-Path in 1998.
At present, Dr. Strong serves as Medical Director of Laboratory at Abrazo Central Campus. She oversees Quality Assurance Programs for Clin-Path Associates.
Her special interests in Pathology include: Thyroid Pathology, Breast Pathology, Immunohistochemistry, Predictive/Prognostic markers.
Dr. Strong is a member of College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), and Arizona Society of Pathologists (ASP).
