Cindy long started her 20-plus year in the laboratory by answering a newspaper ad for recent Biology graduates and hasn’t looked back since. After graduation from University of Texas at San Antonio,  she worked in HLA testing for transplant patients for over ten years, worked in molecular research, and was a laboratory manager and director of laboratory operations for a functional immunology laboratory.

Cindy has been with Clin-Path for more than 10 years, working part-time for five years in the flow department before moving into the role of molecular manager.  This department encompasses Flow Cytometry, Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization ( FISH), Send Outs and Bone Marrow departments.

When not at the laboratory, Cindy enjoys spending her time  at home with her husband and two cats.
