David was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the time when the population was around 200,000. He grew up as a young urban cowboy and his favorite show was Gunsmoke. David became an avid skier during high school and college, as he worked at the Sandia Peak Ski Area. He graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) with a Bachelors’ of Science in Biology. Prior to joining Clin-Path, David has held various positions including Clinical, Radiological, Biotech and Environmental Industries as a Research Analyst, Research Tech, Lab Tech, Analytical Chemist, Metrologist, Health and Safety Coordinator and, as a QA/QC Manager.
At Clin-Path, David’s primary role is the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator. His main responsibility is managing the safety program and chemical hygiene plan, while promoting good safety culture, which helps with maintaining compliance of all state and federal regulations. Over time, David’s expertise lead to his appointment as the facilities/Supplies Inventory supervisor.
