Deborah joined Clin-Path in 2011 as Nurse Practitioner. Her primary role is to support patients who require a bone marrow biopsy. Deborah has provided reassuring education, technical skill, and post-procedure guidance to thousands of patients who have required bone marrow biopsies. Her goal is to ensure that every patient is served with both outstanding personal attention and an excellent technical biopsy result during a difficult and often frightening time.
Deborah earned her RN degree in Phoenix in 1986, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2007. As a Certified Critical Care Nurse, she treated the sickest and most vulnerable members of our community in the ER and county Burn Unit. After earning a degree as a helicopter Flight Nurse, she transported critically ill and injured pediatric, adult and pregnant patients. As a Special Procedures Nurse, she assisted in the same kinds of highly technical procedures that many cancer patients must face.
Deborah completed her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix in 2009, and became Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner that same year. As a Nurse Practitioner, she practiced in both primary care and urgent care settings for 2 years before joining Clin-Path. Deborah’s broad experience in virtually every aspect of advanced medical practice allows her to serve her patients as a knowledgeable, honest, and reassuring advocate.
Deborah’s husband is a physician, and they have 3 grown children. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, biking, hiking, pottery and fiber arts.
